About the Role

We're seeking an attorney with a strong background in defending healthcare professionals. This role manages cases from intake through pre-trial or arbitration, focusing heavily on discovery strategy, written work, and collaboration with internal Claims and outside trial teams. No first-chair trial work is required. You will regularly handle physician depositions and support overall litigation strategy.

What You'll Do

Lead all day-to-day litigation activity from initial assessment through pre-trial/arbitration Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery Partner closely with Claims and selected trial counsel on case strategy Conduct physician-related depositions Provide guidance and support to junior attorneys when needed

What You Need

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active membership with the California Bar 3-6 years of experience in medical malpractice defense Strong writing skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset Willingness to mentor and contribute to a high-performance team culture

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $153,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
