Job Summary

We are family dental practice seeking a dedicated and skilled full time Associate Dentist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient satisfaction. This role involves performing a variety of dental procedures, collaborating with the dental team, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine oral health needs and develop treatment plans. Perform a range of dental procedures, including root canal therapy, dental extractions, and restorative work. Utilize dental terminology effectively in communication with patients and team members. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures. Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and practice efficiency. Utilize software programs such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in performing root canal therapy and dental extractions. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong leadership skills when necessary.
