We are seeking a skilled dentist to join our established and thriving private practice in Tigard, Oregon. In this role, the new dentist will play a key part in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our mission to serve the local community.

Professional Role
Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, promoting optimal oral health
Examine patients' teeth and diagnose oral diseases and conditions
Counsel patients on good oral health practice and proper care of teeth and gums
Perform various dental procedures, with a focus on diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases and conditions related to oral health
Manage and treat dental trauma, such as cracked teeth
Collaborate with dental staff to enhance patient experience and practice efficiency
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
Write reports after exams and treatment plans, and provide necessary dental treatments, including fillings, root canals, extractions, and crowns
Communicate regularly with dental specialists in a collaborative, collegial manner
Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and implement best practices
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
Participate in continuous professional development activities
Licensing Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
Active and unrestricted state dental license in Oregon
Other Requirements
Strong knowledge of general dentistry
Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix is preferred, and demonstrates the ability to keep up-to-date with dental trends and technologies
Must have strong hand-eye coordination, critical thinking skills, and the ability to make quick, sound decisions
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for communicating with patients and other dental professionals
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
