The
Associate Dean for Student Records Registration & Youth Pipelines
directs the operational, financial and personnel activities of admissions, registration, records, degree audit, academic scheduling, early middle college, dual enrollment, youth pipelines and one-stop center services.
Essential Job Functions
Provides administrative leadership and supervision for assigned units, participates in the hiring process, ensures appropriate onboarding, training, coaching and discipline, and through collaboration with the Human Resources Department, develops and implements effective supervisory practices.
Prepares annual operating budget recommendations and allocates budget expenses for assigned units and functions.
Develops and implements departmental operating policies and procedures in collaboration with others.
Provides collaborative oversight for other activities including University Center, transfer agreements and articulations and noncredit registration processes.
Leads joint services collaboration and transformations for projects and services including one-stop and course scheduling.
Leads, oversees and manages college programs and partnerships for Early Middle College and Dual Enrollment.
Maintains appropriate processes, agreements and relationships with high school partners.
Evaluates and recommends strategies and processes in support of college goals and curriculum for Early Middle College, Dual Enrollment and Youth Pipelines.
Maintains a student records system that complies with State and Federal laws and regulations and Institutional policies.
Serves as a liaison with high school staff for the purpose of resolving admission and articulation issues.
Oversees the transfer credit evaluation process, reverse transfer program and unit processes to enhance degree completion.
Works with Institutional Research for compliance data as needed.
Plans, designs, prepares and interprets reports for institutional, state and federal reporting functions.
Represents the institution in state and federal audits of enrollment data.
Provides resources to advise individuals under the age of 14 and their parents on starting college at an early age.
Evaluates requests for student records and provides materials when appropriate.
Collaborates on planning and supporting youth pipeline activities with oversight of registration for camps.
Coordinates activities with other college offices and represents the department in meetings involving community, state and federal agencies.
Serves as the college's FERPA compliance officer.

Minimum Qualifications:
Appropriate education, training, experience and talents are required. An example of this would be a masters degree in a related field and five (5) years of experience.
