Job Description

The Associate Creative Director - Design, supports the creative leadership team in delivering high-quality, strategic work across a range of client projects. This role blends hands-on creative contribution with oversight responsibilities, ensuring our creative work is conceptually strong, visually refined and driven by strategic data They provide direction, mentorship and quality control to ensure our creative output aligns with client goals and agency standards.With a strong foundation in design, the ACD brings a refined eye for visual craft and consistency, ensuring concepts translate into compelling, on-brand executions across print, digital and experiential touchpoints. They actively contribute design thinking at every stage, guiding projects from discovery to final delivery, while elevating the work of the team through clear communication, feedback and mentorship..

While not required, experience in web design is highly valued. The ideal candidate is comfortable guiding user-centric design decisions, partnering with web designers, and ensuring that brand expression carries seamlessly into digital environments.

This role requires someone who can balance big-picture creative vision with pixel-level detail, manage multiple projects with confidence, and collaborate closely with teams across departments.

Key Responsibilities



Provide day-to-day leadership and coaching to members of the creative team, supporting their professional development and performance. Lead and oversee design execution across multiple clients and mediums, maintaining high standards of craft. Translate high-level creative direction into actionable design plans, ensuring clarity and alignment for production teams. Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams to concept and deliver bold, strategic ideas. Contribute hands-on to design deliverables, especially for high-impact projects requiring elevated visual craft. Review and approve design work, ensuring alignment with client goals, brand standards and usability best practices. Present creative concepts and design solutions to clients.. Develop and refine design systems, templates and workflows that support efficiency and creative excellence. Support the Director of Creative Production in managing the team, creative workflows and overall quality.

Qualifications



4+ years of professional design experience Leadership experience within an agency or in-house creative team. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across branding, campaigns and web. Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring or developing creative team members. Demonstrated ability to balance big-picture creative vision with hands-on execution and attention to detail. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and other relevant design tools. Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and inspire confidence with both internal teams and clients. Working knowledge of web design principles is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
