We are currently seeking an IT-oriented professional to take on the role of Computer Operator. The ideal candidate will be expected to work as part of an established team to evolve and support our suite of financial products to consistently meet the changing needs of our clients. The role supports the functions of the team by providing operational excellence and error free support, serving as a first level of resolution as well as an escalation point for all the other teams involved in the process. In this role, the incumbent will ensure high system and service availability to customers while possessing the ability to maintain crisp focus and excellent work ethic. The 1st shift position is responsible for successful intraday processing, ensuring daily targets are met, monitoring the execution of all mainframe platform components, and ensuring on-time file deliveries, among other related duties.





This is a first-shift position and the hours for the role are Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm CST.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Brookfield, WI office locationwith mandatory on-site work 2-3 days per week. Flexibility is required to work overtime and cover holidays, as well as additional weekday and weekend shifts when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities of the

Computer Operator Associate

Apply JCL overrides and performs job restarts. Execute IPLs in a multi-LPAR platform. Manage scheduling packages (ASG-ZEKE). Utilize TSO (SDSF / ISPF) for operational tasks. Handle file transfer processes (NDM and FTP). Promote and demote code using appropriate software. Respond promptly to system requests and resolve issues. Communicate effectively with internal and external clients via email and team calls. Perform network troubleshooting, including executing trace routes. Use monitoring, archival, and incident management tools. Work with DASD, Virtual Tape Systems, HMCs, IPLs, and PORs.

Skills and Experience of the

Computer Operator Associate

1+ years of experience in IT industry (operations, customer service, or service desk). Proactive and professional approach to duties. Proven investigation and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with PC and Microsoft O365 suite. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams. 1+years of experience in IBM Mainframe z/OS computer operations. Knowledge of JCL, IPL, scheduling packages, TSO, file transfers, and code promotion/demotion. Understanding of network troubleshooting and system monitoring tools. ITIL certification is a plus. * Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes.
