Pay: $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year

Location
Fully remote within California, with occasional in-person court appearances and two firm events per year in Los Angeles.
Note
Must be an active member of the California State Bar with at least 1 year of experience in workers' compensation law (plaintiff or defense).
About Our Client
Our client is a boutique California law firm focused exclusively on workers' compensation defense. Based in Century City, the firm represents employers, carriers, and third-party administrators across the state. The team values balance, collaboration, and responsiveness, with a growing caseload and excellent attorney support.

• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters from start to finish.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Draft legal pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance.
• Communicate frequently with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to achieve strong case outcomes.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license.
• Minimum of 1 year of workers' compensation experience (plaintiff or defense).
• Strong writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently and efficiently.
