Associate Attorney - Personal Injury, Workers Comp, Criminal Matters

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, workers' compensation claims, and criminal defense. Compensation:

$80,000 yearly plus Perfomance Bonus

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall claims, and premises liability cases Handle workers' compensation claims from initial filing through resolution Provide criminal defense representation Conduct client interviews and case investigations Draft legal documents, motions, and correspondence Prepare cases for settlement negotiations and trial Maintain client relationships and provide regular case updates Collaborate with legal team members on case strategy and legal research Manage caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Active Louisiana State Bar license in good standing Minimum 3-5 years of experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, and/or criminal defense law Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills Experience with case management and litigation procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional demeanor and excellent client service skills

Preferred Qualifications

License to practice in additional state bars Fluency in Spanish or other relevant languages Trial experience Experience with alternative dispute resolution and mediation
