Job Overview

We are a small but growing law firm in Rockland County, New York, on a mission to help businesses. We are seeking a full-time or part-time associate attorney. This is and opportunity to be a part of a warm and friendly environment with the flexibility needed to enjoy life beyond work. The position can either be in person or remote.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate has specific experience (5+years) with corporate and contract matters, and/or commercial litigation. Typical projects include corporate asset purchases, commercial contracts for the sale of goods or services, corporate formation documents, commercial real estate sales, and business lawsuits.

Full time Salary $90,000-$150,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) (to be prorated for part-time schedule).

This position is ideal for:

a 5+ year associate looking to work in a small firm setting, but aiming to have sophisticated projects an attorney who is tired of big firm schedules or mind-numbing assignments an experienced attorney who has taken a break from practicing law to focus on other matters and is ready to return to a law firm.

Requirements:

At least 5 years directly relevant experience J.D. from an accredited law school Admission to New York Bar Admission to New Jersey Bar (preferred but not required) A love of eating lunch (sushi, Italian and more) preferred, but not required.
