Hooks Meng & Clement (HMC) is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing Northern Nevada office in Carson City. Our firm specializes in Industrial Litigation, representing a diverse clientele, including employers, insurers, and third-party administrators.

Compensation:

$100,000+ annually

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in court and before government agencies. Draft legal documents and correspondence, as well as conduct thorough legal research. Be part of a collaborative team as well as work independently. Use of the electronic billing system, Clio, and case management system, Filevine. Strategize and plan meticulously with and for clients, ensuring attention to detail in all cases. Ability to meet or exceed the monthly billing requirement. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, not just representation.

Qualifications:

Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Adaptable, flexible, and dependable. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment on multiple cases and with multiple deadlines. Our office is in Carson City, NV. This is an in-office position. Ability to bring A-Game Daily!
