What you'll do

Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions with precision and clarity. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings across diverse legal matters such as estate & family law. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation cases to ensure effective representation. Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting various practice areas including securities law and workers' compensation law. Provide insightful legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under the law. Assist in the development of case strategies by analyzing evidence and formulating arguments. Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.

Basic qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Indiana Active bar membership in good standing within the relevant jurisdiction. Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.

Preferred qualifications

Experience or coursework in estate & family law Demonstrated negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures. Prior experience working in a law office or similar legal environment.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
