You will represent clients in family court, depositions, mediations, complete discovery, draft pleadings, settlement agreements, financial affidavits, and advise clients on marital and family law issues. Must be able to handle own caseload while having a strong team of other attorneys and staff to assist as needed.
Responsibilities
- Strategically advocate for clients in court
- Draft pleadings, orders, briefs, settlement agreements, financial disclosure
- Attend hearings, depositions
- Mediate court issues
- Communicate with clients
- Family, Civil Litigation, or Appellate experience
- Strong legal research and excellent writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to respond timely to case and court deadlines
- Westlaw
- Admitted to Florida Bar with no disciplinary record
- Ability to work in-person
