Job overview

Dobility, the makers of SurveyCTO, is looking for an Associate Account Executive to join our sales team. This is a quota-carrying sales role with a primary focus on communicating with prospective customers to understand their needs and articulate SurveyCTO\xe2\x80\x99s value proposition in the user\xe2\x80\x99s context. Other responsibilities will include research on incoming leads, collaborating with our customer success team to create proposals for consulting services, and providing strategic input to the marketing team on website content and other marketing assets.

SurveyCTO is a robust software platform used in a range of contexts, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable learning new technology and applying it to different use cases.

The compensation for this role includes a generous commission-based bonus structure that ensures high performers have very attractive earning potential.

This is a fully remote position, with a geographic preference for Metropolitan DC (DMV). Limited travel (once or twice per quarter) is required.

Reports to: Business Development Manager

Job responsibilities * Generate new sales from a combination of inbound leads, existing customers, and outbound / in-person prospecting (including conference attendance).
  • This will include conducting demos, filling out RFPs (requests for proposals), and speaking with users in-person.
  • Some sales processes will require soliciting and coordinating input from our customer success and development teams on technically complex topics.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential customers by helping prospects understand how SurveyCTO can be a solution for their needs.
  • Assist in communicating and documenting sales processes, best practices, and learnings from business activities.
  • Represent the team at conferences, events, workshops and in-person meetings in order to help identify leads and help communicate how we can be a solution for various mobile data collection needs.
Requirements

Ideal background * Some experience in and/or a keen interest in learning and developing sales skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and outcome-oriented; eager to make a tangible impact and contribution
  • Fast learner, able to both independently problem-solve and work collaboratively
  • Ability to own and manage multiple projects\xe2\x80\x94from assignment to delivery
