was established in 2003 in LaVergne, TN, with 20 employees in one building. QMN currently occupies nine (9) facilities in the Antioch/LaVergne area with over 3000 employees...and GROWING!


We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!




Position Summary:





The Associate 2 is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of server racks to ensure they meet quality standards, customer specifications, and company policies. This role involves verifying labels, checking for physical and cosmetics damages, inspecting power and cable routing, and ensure proper component installation before final shipment.



Essential Functions:




Inspection and Verification

Conduct visual and functional inspections of server racks based on established procedures. Verify the asset tags, serial numbers, model stickers, and other labels are properly applied and legible. Check for physical damage, including scratches, dents, or missing components.

Ensure all screw, panels, and brackets are securely fastened. Confirm that power distribution units (PDUs) are properly installed and set to the off position.

Ensure transceivers, cables, and accessories are installed correctly and match the work order (WO).

Verify compliance with bend radius and cable dressing requirements.

Check that all retainer and white clips are secured.

Documentation and Reporting:

Use QMS and production tracking systems to log inspection results and sign off on verified racks. Record failed inspections, document failure reasons, and communicate issues to lead or supervisor.

Ensure that failed units are correctly processed using the COS tool, scanning failure codes as needed.


Quality Control and Compliance:




Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Rack Verify.

Adhere to safety and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols while handling electronic components.

Report any non-conforming materials or recurring quality issues to lead our supervisor.


Calibration and Support:




Work closely with the Rack Verify Lead, Test teams, and quality engineers to address issues. Assist in the corrective action process for defective racks.

Ensure proper rework procedures are followed when necessary.

Process Improvement:




Provide feedback on process inefficiencies and issues to Leadership team

Maintain organization and cleanliness of the inspection workstation.


REQUIREMENTS:




Basic understanding of server rack components, wiring, and labeling conventions is a plus.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.

Proficiency in using computers and basic software applications for logging inspections.

Strong communication skills.

Must be a team player that can work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Clearly present information through the spoken and written word

Education and Experience:




High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Previous experience in quality inspection, electronics assembly, or manufacturing is preferred.



Physical Demands:




Able to stand, walk, squat, bend and lift up-to 50lbs Able to work in a warehouse environment with no central heat or air.
