Assoc, Distribution - Shift A - FT

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

This position is responsible for processing women\'s apparel/accessory merchandise. This role is responsible for processing women\'s apparel/accessory merchandise to retail stores and direct sales customers.The main processes will include receiving, inspecting, picking, packing, returning, putting away and shipping merchandise.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

\xc2\xb7 Receives and stocks inbound merchandise from vendors.

\xc2\xb7 Meets or exceeds productivity standards.

\xc2\xb7 Gives suggestions on improving operational flows.

\xc2\xb7 Operates electric pallet jacks; stand up reach trucks, order pickers, dock stockers and other manual equipment when assigned.

\xc2\xb7 Follows company policies and procedures are followed.

\xc2\xb7 Picks, packs and ships orders accurately within scheduled time frame.

\xc2\xb7 Inspects incoming or returned merchandise.

\xc2\xb7 Follows company housekeeping and safety standards.

\xc2\xb7 Performs physical inventory twice a year (minimum.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains an acceptable level of attendance.

\xc2\xb7 Selects Distribution Associates will drive the company truck between DTC and DC buildings.

\xc2\xb7 Performs any other distribution duties and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

\xc2\xb7 Minimum education: High School or GED

\xc2\xb7 1-3 years of warehouse/distribution experience, a plus

\xc2\xb7 If driving a company vehicle, must have acceptable driving record.

\xc2\xb7 Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a warehouse area

\xc2\xb7 Stable work history, working for an employer 2-3 year

\xc2\xb7 Must have radio frequency (RF) scanning experience

\xc2\xb7 Excellent attendance record

\xc2\xb7 Ability to learn to operate reach trucks, order pickers and electric pallet jacks

\xc2\xb7 Ability to learn all distribution processes

\xc2\xb7 Ability to positively contribute to a team environment
