Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join The Blake team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing care within our facility. Your leadership and expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Duties:

- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in delivering exceptional care

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated and efficient operations

- Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and develop individualized care plans

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed

- Manage the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing personnel

- Oversee the maintenance of accurate medical records and documentation

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and resident rights

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations related to nursing care

Skills:

- Assisted Living and Memory Care experience preferred

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and regulations

- Proficient in reviewing medical records and documentation for accuracy and completeness

- Experience in nursing administration, including budgeting and resource management

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff members

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
