Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Caregivers to provide exceptional support and care to residents in a senior living community. This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting a comfortable and respectful environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care is highly valued. Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document accordingly Support residents with behavioral management techniques to promote positive interactions Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas to ensure a safe environment Document resident progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed, adhering to safety protocols

Skills

Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care strategies Ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care with compassion and professionalism Familiarity with medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently for documentation purposes Knowledge of behavior management techniques for residents with cognitive impairments Basic cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment

Experience in caregiving (Assisted Living/Healthcare preferred) CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain) CNA licensed/ willing to obtain (sponsored by employer) Ability to pass Texas background checks Strong communication skills and a caring attitude

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
