The Computer Science Department at Tennessee State University is seeking outstanding candidates at the assistant/associate professor level for a 9-month, tenure-track position in Spring 2026. Applicants from all areas of computer science will be considered, however, priority will be given for AI/Data Science or Cyber-Security/Networking. The candidate must have excellent communication skills with a commitment to engage high-quality undergraduate and graduate education in computer science. The CS Department offers an ABET-accredited undergraduate program, as well as a MS in Computer Science program, and a MS in Data Science program. The Department is also part of the Ph.D. in ENCS program in the College of Engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
