Assistant Teacher/Teacher's Aide

Evergreen Montessori is seeking an experienced, caring, and reliable individual to assist children and teachers with daily activities. Well-established, non-profit preschool.

Part-time position: M-F afternoon/evening

Job Duties:

Oversee and assist students in classrooms, halls, bathrooms, and on playground Prepare, supervise, and clean-up meals & snacks Cleaning/sanitizing/housekeeping routines including sweeping, mopping, bathrooms/kitchen sanitation, trash removal Guide children in constructive play, work (pre-academic skills), socialization, language, gross/fine motor skills, and behavioral/emotional regulation Assist with/supervise nappers Perform other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

Must meet DHS Rule 3 requirements as an Assistant Teacher or Teacher's Aide, previous experience working with children 3-5 preferred
