Smith Memorial Daycare Center began 58 years ago as a mission of Epworth United Methodist Church. We provide a friendly, supportive and positive work environment for our staff. Your contribution to our team will bring you satisfaction in knowing you are making a difference in the lives of small children. Smith Memorial Daycare provides nurture and care for preschool children to enable them to acquire skills to succeed in school and life.
Smith Memorial Daycare is a Christian childcare center, sharing the love of Jesus with children and their families. We do not have a separate religious component for any age group. We do sing songs about God and Jesus, tell Bible stories, pray to God before meals and celebrate Christian holidays. Our staff at the Daycare come from many different backgrounds, and we accept our differences with love and respect.
It takes a wonderful team of individuals to ensure the successful daily operations of a childcare center. Employed at the center is a collection of energetic, dedicated and caring individuals ranging from 1-27 years of experience in early childhood care and education.
