The Chippewa Falls Early Learning Community is looking for an assistant teacher for the afternoons, 2pm-6pm Monday - Friday. No weekends!

Part-Time staff receive a free YMCA membership, program discounts, 25% off childcare, and early enrollment for lessons/programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Provide quality, safe and fun programming through daily activities

-Implement curriculum and activities with children

-Build relationships with children and families

-Ensure that proper documentation is completed throughout the day

The ideal candidate would be/have:

-Must be 18 years with a high school diploma or equivalent

-Early Childhood Education classes are a plus

-Experience working with children preferably in a childcare setting.

-Willing to participate in furthering childcare education courses paid for by the YMCA

-Able to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid (Provided by the Y)

-Ability to pass a federal background check for childcare employees
