Summary

A Preschool in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking an energetic, creative Assistant Teacher.

Children's International School provides hands-on learning that addresses the whole child, with an emphasis on the Reggio Emilia philosophy and Creative Curriculum. Applicants must be US citizens and pass a government background check.

Duties

To assist the teacher when needed with watching children. To maintain good communication with parents and to make each parent feel at ease at the preschool. To promote positive behavior and good social skills with the children by applying consistent techniques in accordance with licensing standards. To interact with the children and encourage them in their activities during the day. To develop a cooperative and supportive attitude within the school.
