Job Description

My client, a nationally-recognized GC based in AL, is currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Superintendent to assist the Superintendent or Senior Superintendent with daily management of the project site. Applicants should have excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills, and should want to grow a career with the company.
Projects located across the Southeast, IMMEDIATE NEED

• Assist in coordinating and supervising construction projects from start to finish.
• Help create and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Monitor work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations on the construction site.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and trades on site.
• Assist in managing materials, equipment, and labor resources effectively.
• Identify and address issues that arise during construction to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication among project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.

• At least 2 years working with a General Contractor
• Experience on tilt-wall industrial project sites
• Must be able to commute to project site on a daily basis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
