Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Follows and ensures company compliance with TWG Health and Safety Plan
  • Manage and plan work with Construction Manager, General Superintendent and Foreman
  • Coordinate and communicate crew material needs to project engineers to ensure timely delivery
  • Daily POD reporting to field office
  • Plan the work - Be sure all required tools, materials, manpower etc. are lined up to support the work schedule
  • Coordinate with General Superintendent as required
  • Provide field level input into schedule updates and three week look ahead
  • Completion of timesheets for craft labor; manage and ensure accurate reporting and input of hours into appropriate time tracking application
  • Understand expected productions and monitor progress daily. Work with APM and PM to review cost reports regularly and adjust work as necessary to correct any overruns
  • Actively participate is the QA/QC process
  • Ensure daily third-party inspection reports are completed and submitted daily or as required by owners and TWG policy
  • Manage all aspects of the laydown yards to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience Preferred:
As an assistant superintendent, you must be highly organized, thorough, and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks. The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels. Specific qualifications for the role include:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility scale solar or wind energy work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with owners and vendors
  • Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan specs, material deliveries and job site productivity
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations
  • Ability to travel throughout New York State
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience
  • Position eligible for Company Performance Bonuses
