Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Tri-brand (Cold Stone Creamery / Planet Smoothie / Wetzel Pretzel) store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

(Food Serve Safe Manager certification is required for the position)

Duties

Supervise and manage store staff, including recruiting, training, and performance evaluations. Oversee daily store operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Drive food sales by implementing effective merchandising strategies and promotional activities. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Manage inventory levels, including ordering stock and conducting regular audits to minimize waste. Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked at all times. Collaborate with upper management to develop sales goals and operational strategies. Monitor financial performance through sales reports and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets. Implement shift management practices to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours

Qualifications

Proven experience in food management or supervisory roles, preferably within a Ice Cream / Smoothies / Pretzel store environment. Strong background in food retail sales with a focus on achieving sales targets. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to foster a positive shopping experience for customers. Proficient in administrative tasks related to inventory management and staff scheduling. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing store operations. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays Food Serve Safe Manager certification is required
