Overview


As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in the store and contribute to driving sales and managing daily operations of a fast-paced tire and automotive repair center. Typical duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with the daily management of operations, supervising staff and workflow, and assisting the store manager with sales and customer satisfaction. The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in driving sales, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding store standards to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing:



Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures Answer phones and serve as a point of contact for customers, resolve issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention. Assess customer needs to ensure the right services and products are recommended. Write service tickets and work orders using the point of sale. Present and sell needed services with confidence and transparency. Assign tasks, schedule work, and provide coaching, training, and leadership to tire technician staff. This includes supporting hiring and teammate retention, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations Follow store opening and closing processes and manage day-to-day paperwork as needed. Assist in inventory and cash reconciliation. Ensure the facility is well-maintained - maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform other duties as assigned by your manager, and function as the manager in their absence

What You'll Bring With You:



Automotive industry experience (at least 6+ months) - prior tire experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to exceptional service Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
