RESPONSIBILITIES

DAILY OPERATIONS

  • Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective customer service.
  • Take ownership of the customer\'s experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, weather phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
  • Diagnose and answer mechanical problems accurately and clearly relay information to customer
  • Oversee administration of warranty claims.
  • Clearly communicate to customer and estimated cost and set expectations of completion times
  • Accurately look up parts for repair orders to build estimates
  • Open and close repair orders and perform cashier duties as needed to check customer out
  • Run VIN numbers for outstanding warranty repair work on manufacture websites
  • Open and close warranty repair orders
  • Follow procedures for quick and efficient handling of repair orders customer and internal
  • Become efficient with all phases of the service process
  • Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with upper management to make service department hiring and discipline decisions
CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • Enjoy helping customers solve problems
  • Know what it means to give outstanding customer service
  • Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customer
  • Greet all customers in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Handle telephone and over-the-counter transactions quickly and courteously
  • Identify additional service a vehicle may need that customer is not aware of
  • Handle customer objections reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong conversation and phone skills
  • Attention to detail, organized and ability to prioritize
  • Highly motivated and willing to take initiative
  • Ability to multi-task while being courteous and positive
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, honest and enthusiastic and an Excellent TEAM player
  • Previous experience in hospitality, automotive, and retail
  • Consistent record of service and sales success
  • Able to work with little supervision
