The Impact You'll Make

As the

Assistant Sanitation Manager (3rd Shift)

, you will:

Lead and oversee overnight sanitation operations

to ensure a clean and safe production environment.

Ensure compliance

with

FDA, OSHA, and GFSI standards

, keeping food and employees safe.

Train and develop the sanitation team

, reinforcing best practices and compliance.

Execute the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)

to ensure sanitation effectiveness before production startup.

Support audits and documentation

by maintaining accurate sanitation records and reports.

Identify and implement process improvements

to optimize sanitation procedures.

Your leadership on

3rd shift

will be

critical to the facility's success

, ensuring production can start efficiently each day.

What You'll Do

Supervise and train

the sanitation team on overnight procedures.

Verify sanitation effectiveness

through chemical usage tracking and equipment cleaning.

Collaborate with QA and Production teams

to ensure a seamless shift transition.

Maintain sanitation compliance logs

, including chemical handling and safety documentation.

Support pest control initiatives

and coordinate corrective actions as needed.

Lead audits and regulatory compliance efforts

, ensuring all processes align with food safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

3+ years of experience in sanitation leadership within food processing

.

Understanding of FDA, GMPs, and food safety regulations

.

Ability to lead, train, and manage sanitation teams

on 3rd shift.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

for compliance tracking and reporting.

Nice-to-Haves:

HACCP and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification

.

Experience with HACCP, SQF, or GFSI sanitation programs

.

Background in managing sanitation audits or second/third-party inspections

.
