The Assistant Real Estate Manager must have excellent customer service, tenant coordination aptitude, be very organized, resourceful and reliable to support the Real Estate Manager and a mix of commercial office properties in Portland . A motivated candidate working under the guidance and training of our Real Estate Manager and Director of Operations will be well-positioned for future growth within the company. We prefer to grow organically and we're proud to have promoted 20% of our team this way.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL



Update emergency contacts, vendor lists, call-down lists Assist Real Estate Manager with new property transitions into the portfolio Review and process portfolio invoices Monitor rents, coordinate collections efforts and communications with respective tenants Assemble monthly reporting packages Collect pricing and assist with annual budgets Contact utilities to update information, etc.

DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS



Must have ability to provide concise and professional written and verbal tenant communications Serve as a liaison between tenants and building technicians, security and janitorial Coordinate vendors and verify work is being performed to standard and scope Create and oversee work orders Organize keys and access systems Complete tenant move-ins and move-outs Complete regular cadence of property inspections Meet with vendors, tenants and technicians on site Other duties as may be required Overall main contact for day to day operations and requests

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



High school diploma required BS/BA preferred 2-3 years commercial real estate management experience is preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES



High standard of customer service Self-motivated, proactive, well-organized and independent Ability to work with fast paced team with large volume of clients/tenants; multi-tasking is essential for this position Ability to effectively communicate information one-on-one and in small groups Reliable and punctual with the ability to work flexible hours in rare circumstances Must flourish in an environment with some routine and a high level of variables day-to-day Ability to stay calm in stressful moments and situations Demonstrates learned skills and supports their Manager in a helpful way Consistently strives to learn more and improve Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Amply capable of learning and developing proficiency in Yardi and other PM software programs

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
