Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Property Manager, where your passion for property management will shine! In this vibrant role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties while providing exceptional service to residents and clients. You'll be at the forefront of property leasing, maintenance coordination, and customer relationship management, making a real impact in the community.
What you'll do
Assist in managing daily operations of the property, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
Facilitate property leasing by conducting tours, processing applications, and negotiating lease agreements.
Maintain accurate records through data entry and filing systems while utilizing software such as Yardi and OneSite for efficient management.
Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts with outstanding customer service skills.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to oversee property upkeep and ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Support administrative tasks including contract management, office organization, and phone etiquette to enhance operational efficiency.
Engage in sales initiatives by upselling services and amenities to enhance resident satisfaction.
Basic qualifications
Strong communication skills with a knack for conflict management and negotiation.
Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, OneSite) is highly desirable.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties or Section 8 programs.
Background in real estate administration or legal administrative experience is a plus.
Familiarity with facilities management practices and customer relationship management tools.
