Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Property Manager to support the turnaround and daily operations of an affordable, multi-family housing community. This role works closely with the Property Manager and ownership team to ensure smooth operations, excellent resident relations, and strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily property operations and ensure a well-maintained community. Coordinate with maintenance staff to complete work orders promptly. Assist with leasing activities: show units, process applications, and help maintain high occupancy. Support rent collection efforts and track delinquencies. Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records. Communicate regularly with the Property Manager and ownership regarding leasing, collections, maintenance, and resident concerns. Collaborate with on-site staff to support smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in property management, preferably in Class C multi-family or affordable housing communities. Proficiency with property management software and basic financial reporting. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Comfortable with numbers, data tracking, and administrative tasks. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.
