The Home Connection is a growing residential property management company based in the Northland. We've been serving the community for over 14 years and currently manage 250+ units.
We're seeking a motivated
Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Agent
to join our Gladstone office. This hybrid role combines leasing, tenant relations, and property management operations -- perfect for someone organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
What You'll Do
Market available rental properties
Qualify applicants and prepare lease agreements
Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and deposit returns
Assist with lease renewals and rent increases
Manage work orders and communicate with vendors/maintenance teams
Process invoices
Prepare Housing Authority paperwork
Collect and post rent payments; maintain accurate rent rolls
Follow up on delinquent accounts and support eviction processing
Provide administrative support to the property management team
Occasional evening/weekend move-ins (scheduled in advance)
Pay: $40,000-$45,000/year + commission for new leases

Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma required; some college preferred
Prior residential property management or leasing experience preferred
Proficiency with
AppFolio
(or similar) and Microsoft Office
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required
Spanish fluency a plus
