Assistant Property Manager
to support daily operations across both our single-family rental homes and our apartment complex.
Position Summary
The Assistant Property Manager will play a key role in supporting the operational, administrative, and resident service needs of
both single-family homes and one apartment community
. This full-time position includes onsite duties--such as property showings, inspections, and resident interactions--as well as in office administrative work. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and capable of managing responsibilities across multiple property types and
must have residential leasing experience
.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day management of
single-family rental homes and one apartment complex
Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, maintenance requests, and concerns
Support leasing activities, including scheduling and conducting showings for
both single-family homes and apartment units
Process rental applications, prepare lease agreements, and manage move-in/move-out procedures
Maintain accurate and organized records, resident files, and data within property management software
Coordinate maintenance work orders and communicate with vendors for both home and apartment repairs
Conduct periodic inspections of
single-family homes
and apartment units/buildings
Assist with rent collection, payment posting, and delinquency follow-up
Ensure compliance with fair housing laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Provide ongoing administrative and operational support to the Property Manager and ownership team
Qualifications
Must be
bilingual
.
Previous experience in property management, residential leasing, or real estate is preferred
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (or willingness to learn)
Familiarity with fair housing regulations preferred
Professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently
Reliable transportation for travel between
single-family home properties
and the apartment community
Work Expectations
Onsite:
Required for showings of single-family homes and apartment units, property inspections, resident meetings, and scheduled office hours at the apartment complex
Main Office:
Administrative tasks such as application processing, communication, scheduling, reporting, and documentation
Must be available during standard business hours and able to transition between onsite and main office responsibilities as needed
