Assistant Property Manager - East Memphis Area

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Assistant Property Manager to help drive occupancy, rent collections, and resident satisfaction at a property in the East Memphis area. This role requires strong leasing skills, persistence in following up with delinquent residents, and professionalism in all resident interactions. This is a great opportunity to work with very involved owners.

Responsibilities

Lease vacant apartments quickly to qualified tenants. Generate traffic through marketing and outreach. Manage lease renewals. Assist with housing agency move-ins. Collect rent and enforce delinquency procedures through calls, door visits, and texts. Assist residents with rental assistance programs. Enter work orders and keep residents updated on progress. Handle resident requests respectfully and efficiently. Process vendor and utility invoices accurately. Maintain a clean, organized office environment.

Qualifications

Proven leasing experience with strong closing skills. Knowledge of Fair Housing and leasing procedures. Proficiency in property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite, or RealPage). Strong customer service and conflict resolution abilities. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Previous property management or real estate admin experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
