Manzitto is a commercial real estate developer and general contractor. We are continually seeking quality people to add to our team. The Project Engineer position is responsible for working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to coordinate and maintain multiple projects. They will also be diversified in assisting with Preconstruction and Estimating to create a full development pallet that ensures growth and a wide range understanding of the industry.
Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and distribute RFI's.
Prepare, review, and distribute project Submittals.
Analyze and resolve field construction issues.
Prepare, review, and distribute change order documentation.
Develop and maintain project schedules with Project Manager and Superintendent input.
Maintain thorough understanding of contract documents and subcontracts.
Prepare meeting minutes for all job meetings.
Project photos and other documentation.
Inspect and verify material deliveries.
Manage the Punch List process with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
Manage project closeout including as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, etc.
Work with preconstruction and estimating personnel to conduct plan take-offs, develop unit pricing, subcontractor evaluations, and budget development.
Prioritize daily tasks to be proactive in time management.
Ensure company procedures and standards are maintained.
Other duties as assigned to provide support for all other positions, as needed.
Reports directly to the Project Manager or Director of Operations depending on the assigned project duties and should also periodically seek out the Director of Operations for mentoring.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management.
1-5 years' experience in the construction industry desired.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, and Bluebeam.
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.

A Project Engineer can choose their growth path through our construction operations to work in the field as a Superintendent or the path to work in the office as a Project Manager.
Significant years of experience and positive influence on others will lead to senior status in construction operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
