CM Ragusa Builders is looking to fill a full-time position for an Assistant Project Manager (APM) who would be responsible for supporting the project management team in organizing project tasks and identifying resources and information to make projects as successful as possible. Below is a more detailed list of the roles and responsibilities of an APM, as well as a partial list of the ideal traits this candidate should possess to be most successful in this position.
Compensation for this position will commensurate with the candidate's
experience, skills, and education.
Role and Responsibilities:
? Building out Commitments, Change Orders, Change events, RFI's, Submittals, and ensuring Drawings are kept up to date within ProCore.
? Procuring materials and acquiring the necessary equipment for the jobsite from pre construction through completion (temp heat, fireplaces, appliances, fencing, etc).
? Researching, obtaining quotes, and ordering for a variety of unique custom home requests (bowling alleys, elevators, custom hard to find materials), following through on their delivery, and coordinating the necessary trade partners to see requests through to completion.
? Assisting in all phases of construction including but not limited to pre-demo/site work, and coordinating the preservation and salvage materials on historical renovations, as well as the pre-construction/construction phases of new projects.
? Keeping up on conversations between trade partners, clients and project managers surrounding a wide variety of needs and requests. Keeping the conversation moving through an open line of communication is very important for day to day operations and a vital role of the APM.
? Assisting the Project Manager in the scheduling process, staffing and job site needs.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
? Have basic construction knowledge of plumbing & electrical fixtures, roofing, framing, HVAC, site work, etc.
? Be extremely organized and excellent at following through with tasks.
? Enjoy a challenge while utilizing their existing skills to assist PMs in seeing jobs through to completion in a timely manner.
? Be capable of thriving in a high paced, exciting work environment with constant changes and improvements being made to standard operating procedures.
? Be technologically savvy and have at least an intermediate understanding of spreadsheets, pdf files, and basic computer software. Experience with ProCore Construction Management Software is a major plus.
? Have a flexible and motivated demeanor.
? Have experience working in high end custom homes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
