Job Description

Join a leading retail general contractor as an Assistant Project Manager supporting ground-up and interior retail projects across the Midwest. You'll gain hands-on responsibility managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships while being mentored by senior leadership.

  • Project Management | Assist in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of retail projects.
  • Client Coordination | Serve as a daily point of contact for clients and vendors.
  • Documentation | Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Financial Tracking | Support cost reporting, procurement, and pay application processes.
  • Field Collaboration | Partner with Superintendents to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Team Support | Assist PMs in project close-out, warranty tracking, and lessons learned.

  • 2-5 years of commercial or retail construction experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.

  • Driven, coachable, and eager to grow into a full Project Manager role.
