Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will support the planning, execution, and completion of K-12 ground-up construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves assisting the Project Manager with coordination among clients, contractors, and internal teams, while helping manage project documentation, schedules, resources, and overall progress.

  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all phases of K-12 ground-up construction projects.
  • Support in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Coordinate communication between clients, subcontractors, architects, and internal teams.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor project progress, site activities, and report updates to the Project Manager.
  • Help manage procurement, change orders, RFIs, and project closeout processes.
  • Ensure all safety and quality control standards are met throughout the project.
  • Participate in meetings, site visits, and inspections as needed.

  • Holds a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience supporting commercial or institutional ground-up construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project documentation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrates a proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and accountability.
