Community College of Denver is seeking individuals with demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive learning and work environment. CCD values the ability to work effectively with students, families, faculty, instructors, and staff of diverse backgrounds.
Community College of Denver\'s educational programs are designed to enrich the social, civic and economic fabric of our community, nation and the world. Ideas, innovation and the preparation of a well-trained workforce are essential to a vibrant economy. CCD provides access and opportunity for nontraditional students, workforce development and training resources for local organizations, and community partnerships that are improving high school graduation, college enrollment and career success. CCD serves approximately 8,000 students, the majority of whom are from racially minoritized populations. 33.4% of CCD\'s students are Latinx, 10.6% are African-American, 7% are international students, and 5.3% are Asian-American. CCD was designated a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) by the U.S. Department of Education in 2001. The college earned this distinction because more than 30 percent of our students currently self-identify as Hispanic/Latinx.
