This full-time TRS position consists of 260 working days per year, with an annual salary range of $80,000.00 - $95.000.00 as set by the Board of Education. The superintendent will determine the work calendar.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists the High School principal in the overall administration of the school.
Supervises and is accountable for each student's attendance records' maintenance and accuracy, and enforces district attendance policies in collaboration with school staff.
Handles referrals as assigned and works with the students, parents/guardians, and teachers. Assigns discipline for students.
Processes, enforces, and assists the administration in the development of the discipline policy of the school. Assists in providing behavioral and academic interventions.
Plans and implements preventive disciplinary measures through changes in schedule, counseling, in-school suspensions, home visits, and referrals for evaluation.
Maintains disciplinary files in the student records system. Compiles information from student referral incidents. Categorizes and analyzes this information to use in developing broader building-level preventative disciplinary procedures and practices.
Coordinates and supervises the Special Education program in collaboration with the Division Chair for Special Education. Serve as the administrative representative for psychological assessment, IEP review, and parent conferences. Assures compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Directs the student support team in developing appropriate behavioral and academic interventions as needed.
Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the School Improvement Plan.
Helps the principal develop, maintain, and use information systems to keep records and track the progress of on-campus performance objectives and academic excellence indicators.
Assists the principal in developing and achieving district- and school-wide instructional goals, including support for and participation in PLCs, AVID, grading, and curricular development.
Participates as a member of the school leadership team, collaborating with and supporting the Division Chairs.
Assists the principal in fostering good interpersonal relationships among students, teachers, parents, and administrators.
Shares responsibility with the principal for organizing and supervising all school-sponsored events and programs during and after school hours.
Assists with planning and supervises fire drills, tornado drills, and the emergency preparedness program.
Inspects school facilities, including hallways, restrooms, classrooms, and special areas.
Assists with responsibility in the supervision and safety of students in the buildings and on the grounds.
Participates in the hiring process of faculty and staff.
Communicates regularly with stakeholders.
Maintains appropriate and timely contact with law enforcement agencies.
Assumes responsibility for students' overall supervision and safety in the buildings and on the grounds during lunch and before and after school.
Acts as liaison with the building, public, and mental health community to support individual student development goals.
Participates regularly as a contributing member to leadership teams throughout the district.
Attends monthly Board of Education meetings.
Conducts observations and completes the required evaluation of employees.
Ensures the confidentiality of personnel records and information.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this position include frequent sitting and standing for extended periods. Dependent on class/student assignment, the employee may occasionally lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds. Repetitive bending at the waist and kneeling, stooping, and crouching to assist students is also required. Employees may reach overhead as well as above the shoulders and horizontally.
