The Pre-K Teacher supports the learning and development of preschool-aged children in a nurturing, Christian-based environment. This role focuses on providing a safe, structured, and engaging afternoon routine that balances learning, play, and care from 2:00-6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage Pre-K children in age-appropriate learning centers, activities, and outdoor play.
Support and reinforce morning curriculum through creative afternoon enrichment (story time, art, sensory, music, etc.).
Maintain a calm, positive, and structured environment as children transition to end-of-day routines.
Assist with snack time and ensure proper hygiene and safety standards are met.
Communicate effectively with parents and coworkers during pickup and shift changes.
Keep classroom clean, organized, and ready for the next day.
Flexible if we need you to help in a different class.
Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
Model respectful behavior and positive guidance techniques.
Support the overall mission and philosophy of the center.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour
