Assistant Office Manager/Bookkeeper. You'll begin by working side-by-side with our Office Manager to learn our systems and processes, then take ownership of daily accounting and dealership administration tasks.
What You'll Do
Perform
daily cash count-ups
; reconcile cash, credit card, and ACH deposits to point-of-sale and bank activity
Process
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
; manage vendor statements and customer balances
Process payroll
: review timecards/commissions/spiffs, verify deductions (taxes, benefits, garnishments), submit payroll, distribute pay stubs, and support quarterly/annual filings (e.g., 941s, W-2s/1099s) in coordination with our payroll provider/CPA
Process sales deals
: verify paperwork, post to DMS/accounting, assemble deal jackets, coordinate titling/registration as needed
Reconcile
payments, petty cash, and credit card
statements; prepare and record bank deposits
Assist with
month-end close
tasks (journal entries, bank recs, inventory/floorplan reconciliations)
Maintain organized digital and physical files; support audits and compliance requirements
Provide light front-office backup (phones, customer check-out) as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
