Job Title: Assistant RN Manager Operating Room

Permanent Role

Location: Wilmington, DE

Start Date: ASAP

Shift Time: Days

GH: 40 hours

Supervise Nursing Staff

: Assist in managing nursing staff, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance to ensure high-quality patient care.

Administrative Support

: Provide administrative and clerical support to the nurse manager, allowing them to focus on larger-scale issues within the department.

Patient Care Coordination

: Ensure that all patients receive proper and efficient care by collaborating with healthcare professionals and addressing patient concerns.

Staff Recruitment and Training

: Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff, as well as mentoring and coaching to enhance their professional development.

Policy Implementation

: Assist in implementing healthcare policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain high standards of patient care and compliance with regulations.

Quality Improvement

: Lead quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department to enhance patient care and service delivery.

Education/Licensure/Certifications/Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing required. Master's required within 5 years. RN required. Operating Room experience required. 5 years appropriate clinical and leadership experience. Current Certification required.

(CNOR certification)

If selected, candidate will, within six months of start date, successful complete the professional certification.
