Shawnee Health is seeking an

Assistant Nurse Manager LPN or RN

for our Shawnee Health Carbondale Medical

campus

. The Assistant Nurse Manager will have responsibilities at Same Day, Behavioral Health and Carbondale Medical. This position reports directly to the

Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities

Coordinate nursing efforts to ensure that effective, efficient patient care is being provided and that quality standards and measures are met. Works with the Nurse Manager, Chief Director of Nursing and other management/leadership staff to establish and implement goals and objectives for the clinic and the organization. Guiding, planning and directing clinic activities with ongoing assessment of the quality and efficiency of those activities. Coordinating schedules for nursing staff assigned to the area of responsibility. Maintaining effective utilization of manpower, equipment and supplies. Investigates, attempts to resolve and reports complaints and identified risks. Oversees immunization program, including vaccine ordering process, proper storage and handling, inventory management and compliance with state and other requirements. Demonstrates ability in critical thinking, conflict management, motivation and mentoring. Demonstrates a positive and effective working relationship with the entire health care team. Provides direct patient care when needed.

Requirements

Must have a valid Illinois driver's license and auto liability insurance on personal vehicles. Must have a valid Illinois nursing license to practice as a LPN or RN. Minimum 3 years of clinical experience. Minimum of 2 years of management experience

Starting salary: $51,320 - $79,620

Salary will be commensurate with experience and current licensure.
