JRK Seed is looking for an Assistant Mill Manager to lead our small (and growing!) team in Delano, Minnesota. In this role, you will assist in directing the daily operations of the entire feed manufacturing and delivery process and for producing and delivering high quality feed. As the Assistant Mill Manager you will:

• Manage daily operation.
• Make sure procedures are followed to produce a quality product.
• Ensure efficiency and maximize production.
• Manage production and delivery staff.
• Assist in dispatching delivery drivers.
• Manage safety records.
• Create awareness of safety procedures.
• Create a culture of safety.
• Manage feed quality.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain production records.
• Oversee inventory.
• Maintain site cleanliness.
• Maintain tracking of loads delivered.
• Other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: * Associate degree in business management, agriculture, or related field.

• Three to five years of experience in feed mill management.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking, must be able to lift to 50 pounds continuously.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours.
• Some bending/kneeling/stooping required.
• Regular communication with team members, leadership, and guests.
• Some carrying, moving, and positioning of objects and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
