We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Membership Director to lead our membership growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, management, and business development, with a proven track record in B2B sales and marketing. This role requires a strategic thinker who can leverage technology sales experience and utilize tools like Salesforce to enhance member engagement and retention. The Assistant Membership Director will play a crucial role in driving membership growth while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to increase membership through targeted outreach and marketing initiatives.
Lead outside sales efforts to attract new members, focusing on B2B relationships and partnerships.
Manage the membership team, providing leadership, training, and support to achieve sales goals.
Utilize Salesforce for tracking membership metrics, analyzing data trends, and generating reports to inform decision-making.
Foster strong relationships with current members through effective account management and customer service practices.
Conduct negotiations with potential members to secure partnerships that align with organizational goals.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that effectively communicate the value of membership.
Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in membership offerings.
Qualifications
Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within a membership-based organization or similar industry.
Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Experience in B2B sales and technology sales is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing member data and analytics.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
