As

Assistant Manager

, you will be a key part of the theatre's leadership team, working alongside the General Manager to supervise and coordinate our staff, optimize operations, and uphold a premier guest experience. Core Responsibilities

Co?lead daily operations

with the GM: scheduling, managing resources, and driving execution of theatre and Marquee Suites initiatives.

Hire, train & develop

team members in both food & beverage and entertainment settings, fostering growth and performance consistency.

Oversee inventory & amenities

, including concessions, Marquee Suites, and promotional events in collaboration with marketing.

Enforce quality, safety, and cleanliness

standards across the facility.

Cultivate a positive culture

, using strong communication and mediation to resolve staff and guest challenges professionally.

Support systems and record?keeping

activities: licensing, scheduling, employee files, and compliance with company policies.

Hands?on leadership

: Selling tickets, staffing the snack bar, assisting in auditorium operations--everything from front?of?house to PM close?out.

Represent management

during evenings, weekends, and select holidays as availability demands.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience:

At least 3 years

in food & beverage management with clear outcomes (e.g., hiring, cost control, team supervision).

Minimum 2 years

in entertainment-based environments--movie theatres, live events, or similar--preferably in a leadership capacity.

Leadership & Skills:

Proven

supervisory or assistant manager

experience in customer-centric, high-volume settings. Strong

problem-solving

and decision-making under pressure. Excellent

communication

, interpersonal, and conflict-mediation capabilities. Comfortable with

POS systems

, scheduling tools, and basic computer proficiency. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holiday hours as needed.
