Loco Pez, Fishtown's popular taqueria and bar is hiring an experienced Assistant Manager to join our management team. Come join our mashup of your grandpa's watering hole and a taco truck from La Brea Avenue. Loco Pez is a slightly hungover band of restaurant lifers acting out a heartfelt ode to good times, bathroom graffiti, and classically prepared and presented LA-style Mexican street cuisine.

If you take pride in running an efficient shift, understand how to motivate nutty people and enjoy the choreography of service, all without the corporate overlords sucking your soul, then please send us a resume.

Yes, it's nights and weekend, and yes, you'd better wear comfortable shoes, but on the flip side, ironic tees are permitted.

Other requirements include a basic familiarity with restaurant operations, points of service, staff management, conflict resolution (non-violent), and customer interaction. It's a living!

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in FOH or full-service restaurant. Strong leadership skills. Possess strong organizational and decision-making skills. Work well in fast-paced setting. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Possess a positive attitude Ability to manage time well, multi-task and prioritize Proficiency in Microsoft Office Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time. Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
The Assistant Manager reports to the General Manager.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
