Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an
Assistant Manager
. This role is central to the daily success of the mall and offers a dynamic mix of customer interaction, floor operations, and behind-the-scenes coordination. You will be trusted to manage the space during operating hours, support both customers and dealers, and help maintain the warm, polished atmosphere Harbert Antique Mall is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive customer service
Process sales transactions accurately and maintain organized records
Assist with merchandising, display setup, and light inventory coordination
Communicate with dealers regarding sales, booth updates, and general inquiries
Oversee opening and closing procedures when management is not on-site
Support marketing initiatives, including social media content and in-store promotions
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the sales floor
Qualifications
Previous retail, gallery, or specialty shop experience preferred
Interest in antiques, vintage goods, art, or design is a strong plus
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Dependable, friendly, and comfortable multitasking in a customer-facing environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
