The Assistant at BFit is highly interactive with members and employees. Primary responsibilities are to provide energy, motivation, leadership, career and educational guidance to all staff, driving revenue and sales and ensuring that the operational standards of the club and member experience are met. The General Manager is expected to interact and offer feedback to staff and directors with the intent of helping the company reach our goals and providing added value to our members and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Front Desk
Efficiently run, perform, and maintain all front desk tasks including:
Member greetings
Memberships
Cleaning/Sanitation task lists
Shake Bar Tasks
Other tasks as defined in the Front Desk
Assure each new team member is trained appropriately by following the FD onboarding guidelines and the SOP
Provide excellent customer service
Stay engaged on Basecamp
Knowledge of company events and announcements (stay informed)
Interaction with Team
Sales and Goals
Generate sales and assume the lead sales role during shift
Respond to all text messages in GymSales within 24 business hours
Increase sales by following up on leads through GymSales GymSales calls ideally will be maintained daily, but must be current by Friday of each week. (AM PT Sales position will follow separate guidelines for pt calls)
Lead the team in Orientations booked and completed (>35%)
Collaborate with the GM to assess areas of improvement for self and team in order to meet goals.
Meet sales goals of >65% prime membership for self and team.
Administrative
Respond to members' customer service requests/complaints
Supervise Front Desk and Kids' Klub Team
Review and support staff performance and awareness regarding membership, orientations, and company goals. Report concerns to GM
Communicate important company information to the Front Desk Team
Collaborate with the GM and COO on new hires, disciplinary actions, and terminations
Grow and maintain relationships with prospects, members, and referrals
Conduct detailed walk-throughs of the club each day ensuring staff adherence to policy
Monitor the condition of the facility including cleanliness, general appearance, and equipment maintenance. The AM is responsible for the appearance of the club at all times.
Ensure shifts are covered and help oversee FD schedule
Order supplies weekly and as needed for the club pro-shop/shake inventory and cleaning supplies
Conduct monthly inventory audits and end of month reports
Manage Locker Audits as needed
Other duties as assigned by GM
Compensation
Salary
$500 Monthly bonus potential if goals are met

Qualifications
Enthusiastic, energetic, and friendly as well as passionate and knowledgeable about the fitness industry
Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills
Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness, or professional setting
Ability to drive sales and hit budgets/goals
Punctual with excellent time management skills
Basic computer skills
Self-motivated and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional ability to work in a team setting
Detail-oriented
Current CPR/AED certification
Bachelor's Degree preferred
